This album by the (as far as I know) relatively unpopular band Corvus was one that had a good pace to it along with vocals that conveyed the lyrics well and delivered them in a way that remained after they had passed. Now while I’ve never heard of Corvus, that didn’t stop me from contacting them on Twitter and asking if they want a review. Why? Simple : because I do reviews for bands and that means doing reviews also for bands I’ve never heard of. If I didn’t follow that sort of code then I wouldn’t have at least one new review everyday.

Now while this band can be (for lack of a better term) “soft”, that does’t stop them from being more hardcore and crossing that genre territorial line going from rock to metal. This means that “Never Forget” will be able to not only appeal to and attract rock fans, but also metal fans and others. This is a very good sign if Corvus is able to duplicate this type of sound and make their next album appeal to more people than just a certain group of people who only listen to that one genre of music. Again, if they can do that then they will take off if my predictions and expectations are true and accurate. And it’s even more surprising that this album has been out for at least 10 months (but less than a year) and I’ve never heard a track from it much less the band or album. I think this album should be promoted more so that others can hear their sound and hopefully become attached to their music as many others have, including myself.
