Polar – Shadowed By Vultures

20140531-093324-34404654.jpg “Shadowed By Vultures” is an all around good album that have many good aspects to it that can and will draw many people to it. The album opens up with a very short track (less than a minute) that is a prelude to the next track that is fast-paced and raw. The vocals in this are loud and raspy which give it a good sound that can go with just about anything that the guitars and the drums can create. The entire album is filled from start to finish with great music that can captivate just about any metal listener who isn’t super picky about what they listen to. Polar to me is relatively unknown, and I say this because when I listened to the album on SoundCloud I saw that each song had less than 300 plays. . . that means that the band either isn’t as popular as they should be or people don’t like it. I find the latter to be ridiculous because the band and the album are both very good. To me, the band has to just promote their music more, make more, or just make more music that more different types of people can enjoy. I’m not saying that people can’t enjoy this album because I liked it, Bro-metal.org liked it, and I know at least the 100+ people that did listen to this album liked it. The band just has to make more universally accepted music that anyone can enjoy anywhere. Overall, great album, good band, and it deserves more recognition than it has at the moment.
