You know how some bands sound like others on occasion? Of course you do. For the first half of this album, I was reminded of Avenged Sevenfold. Now keep in mind, I don’t have any particular love for A7X, but I don’t hold any special hatred for them either. But while Night Mistress reminded me of A7X, they did sound much better to me. The style, tone, and the sound is more refined and the rhythm is a lot better in my own personal opinion. The guitars are very well orchestrated, they have a great rhythm and they are an excellent pair for the great drums which have an amazing beat. Together, the guitars and drums make a fabulous pair that are even more great with the exception of the vocals that have an awesome flow and tempo which are done absolutely well and are sung with weight and meaning burrowed into the lyrics. This entire album was very well coordinated, mastered, and performed. I have to give a major congratulations to anyone who helped in the making of this album because they helped make a great one.
