Okay, I’ll be honest. “Dead Mind” isn’t what some people would call a “single” because it’s not an official “single” because it’s simply the first song made and released by Worth at the moment. But I’m not some people so I’m gonna call it a single because fuck it. And before I get any farther let me just say that Worth is an all girl band. Nothing super amazing about that but not many people realize the amount of girls that play a role in the music industry when it comes to actually making and performing music. Just let that sink in for a moment. Now, I personally thought that their song “Dead Mind” was a good track that shows what Worth can do, but also what they could improve upon. The things that were good were the rhythm, overall tone, and sound of all the instruments that melded together to form this song. They all had good composure throughout the whole song and everything coalesced really well without any stuttering or trouble and that made the fast guitars and the pounding drums all the more better. My only complaint about the whole song are the vocals (while exceptional overall) could use adjusting so that the more deep vocals are more profound and it doesn’t sound like someone growling and not a guttural singing tone. The softer vocals were okay, too, but could also use some tuning so that they stand out more when they come along. “Dead Mind” overall was a good track like I said and it is a pretty good showcase as to what Worth can create and I wonder if it’s a good glimpse of what they have in store for future releases. I’d be interested in listening definitely.
