Yes. Just yes. Just. . . stop fucking reading and go listen to this debut album by Forevermore. Seriously. It’s very good. Don’t ask me what genre because I’m not one of those people who can define what genre an album is by listening to it, but if I had to guess then “Telos” is groove metal. And good groove metal at that. Not the most hardcore of music, but it’s up there in my book for bands without that death metal low tone voice. The vocals convey that sense of frustration and anger that’s being poured into the tracks, but then they can become much softer and really have a smooth sound to them that’d sound nice to just about everybody. The guitars pulsate throughout all of the album and each track is packed beginning to end with good sounding notes and rhythm that keeps the listener’s attention 100% during all of “Telos”. And the drums have a constant presence that gives the album a great background sound to them that gives each track a solid beat to them that’ll surely have many people tapping their feet to whenever they hear their favorite tracks. A very good debut album, I can tell that Forevermore will make more impressive albums in the future and I’m looking forward to listening to them.
