I’ve no idea why I wasn’t told about this sooner. I was looking at recently released albums and I saw this and screamed “What the fuck?! How did I not know?!” Repeatedly saying “dammit” I went and listened to “Redeemer of Souls”. And I’m even more mad no one told me because this album was really good. It really has that Judas Priest sound to it and it started off really strong, but ended in a way that I wouldn’t call weak but it wasn’t as strong as the beginning. The vocals have the iconic sound to them and they flow through all of “Redeemer of Souls” along with guitars that do some really nice riffs and notes that are catchy and can easily get the feet tapping without realizing it. And the drums have a great rhythm and pace the entire time without missing the mark and they are synchronized with the guitars well enough that they seem to mold together into one cohesive sound with excellent tone. And like I said, “Redeemer of Souls” started off really strong and ended not as strong but that doesn’t mean the ending was bad. “Beginning of the End” was a good song, no doubt. But I just think “Dragonaut” is better. Of course, everyone is not going to share the same views as me, but everyone’s opinion is gonna differ.
