The latest single from The Haunted’s upcoming album “Exit Wounds” is hardcore right from the start. The song wastes no time in relying on a slow build up to an explosion of metal because the explosion happens at the very beginning. And everything is very well done, too. The vocals have an unrelentingly fast pace to them along with the harsh guitars that don’t let up no matter what part of the song they’re at because every moment should be filled with constant metal as it is. And the drums have a fantastic beat to them that are absolutely raw to no end. If the entirety of “Exit Wounds” will sound this great then I’ve no doubt many fans of the band, including myself, will love the album. And I’m sure that many people who don’t love the band will after hearing this.
