I could have sworn “Exit Wounds” was going to come out in September and not 4 days ago (in Europe, Sept. 2 in America so I wasn’t completely wrong). But I’m not complaining! Sooner is a hell of a lot better than later and I was excited for this album. Especially when I heard The Haunted’s single “Cutting Teeth” from this and heard that Ola Englund from Feared is the new guitarists. “Exit Wounds” was fucking awesome and totally lived up to my expectations 110%. Everything is done with maximum heaviness and it sounds great. The vocals are absolutely brutal to the core with incredible tone and fury in the voice. And of course Englund was fucking amazing and I knew he would be because he was fucking amazing in Feared so why he fuck wouldn’t he be the same for The Haunted? Sadly, I do not know the name of the other guitarist (wish I did) but he was just as amazing as Englund! And the drums. . . a-may-zing. “Exit Wounds” is certainly one that made me shit my pants and I already know it’s made many others as well without even looking at Facebook or Twitter. This album is great, no question about it.
