Told you I was going to be back with this album! Didn’t believe me? Well, fuck you (kidding). And thankfully, “Up In Hell” was better than I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be reminiscent of Wretched’s “Cannibal”, and it was in some way but not completely. It was a really solid album, though. As Incite’s third album to be released, the vocalist, Richie Cavalera, commented on Metal Injection that they replaced their drummer and bassist and that “they brought a much more “raging” vibe to the music”. That’s always good news! More rage, rawness, and brutality is (literally) music to my ears, and that is exactly what Incite gave to us! Everything from the vocals to the sound to the theme itself are absolutely raw to the core and have a feel of seething rage in every second. “Up In Hell” is without a doubt an album for the metal heads who absolutely love this hardcore sound and I’ve no doubt this isn’t all Incite can do.
