Okay, I lied. Technically this isn’t a “single” since it contains more than one song, but it’s not an EP or LP. So let’s just call this a single for lack of a better word. Anyway, the two songs from this. “Freak In Me” and “We Rise”, are actually quite good. I personally prefer “Freak In Me” myself but that’s just because I like the chorus better than the one from “We Rise”. The vocals from each have a really good sound to them along with the guitars that are somewhat heavy, but the vocalist really balances them out by putting a smooth sound to go with the edgy guitars. The drums also give a fantastic beat and rhythm to them that persisted throughout both songs. Overall, I think “Freak In Me” is the better of the two like I said but that certainly doesn’t mean “We Rise” is bad. I even asked one of Hangmore’s members if a full album featuring these songs will release soon, and sadly he said “Due to money issues it can take awhile before we are able to record the full album.” I mean fair enough, right? The process is long and grueling especially if you don’t have easy money you can just slam down and do everything needed to record a full album. But until news of a second album comes, we can listen to these two tracks on Spotify or watch the music video for “Freak In Me” that I will put below for all of you to form your own opinions.
