From Earth is out of this world! Now that we got the stupid cheesy cliche intro out of the way, “Dark Waves” is truly one to impress. The entirety of this album is jam packed with hardcore brutal everything (vocals, guitars, drums, you get the idea) coupled with some choruses that have a more melodic sound to them that really suck you in and make you listening to everything that’s going on. The guitars have such brutality to them along with the vocals that just don’t give you a moments rest gives you the feeling that you hear them and some people out there I’m sure will do a nice little nod of their head and go, “Eh… not bad… not bad at all.” “Dark Waves” from start to finish is an absolutely devil of an album that I imagine the fans who are really into From Earth have been listening to this for the last 2 days (it was released 2 day ago. Who would’ve thunk?) and just eating it up like homemade ice cream the entire time. I know I would’ve been. I could only find the stream on Spotify, but if you know of a site that’s more accessible and easy to navigate that has the full album then please let me know. I’m sure everyone (including) me would appreciate that.
