Once again, an instrumental album has managed to find itself in my email inbox. Today I was able to get my hands on Arcade Messiah’s self-titled debut album that comes out next month for everyone else. The album is mainly post-rock, but there are heavier moments that can be found throughout the rest of this album which is really nice especially if you can appreciate simply how good it sounds. Each song can be used as something that you can listen to easy with the slightest of head-banging going on, or something in the background to keep your brain focused without straying to much. Now while I personally would not throw this onto my iPod because I prefer the more heavy and energetic side of metal, but Arcade Messiah is great for those of you who don’t mind taking your metal a little bit slow while keeping your brain interested so all you hear is the great instrumental going on in your ears. And over all, while Arcade Messiah isn’t the best instrumental album in my opinion it is certainly better than others so that definitely gives it some credit from me since the guitars and drums are very well done and has the potential to interest many, many people out there who can find anything or everything to love in this album.
