Today I have a good friend of mine, Bro of bro-metal.org, allowing me to showcase his reviewing skill as a guest review for us of Head-Banger Reviews. Here he talks about Factory Fast Records’ latest compilation of metal music “Rigged and Wired” to which he greatly approves. Here’s what he has to say to us:
Factory Fast Records, out of NYC, is a Bro-Metal favorite. This label puts out sick records and their compilations are the greatest thing since your old mix tapes from back in the day. Their last compilation, “It Escaped From Brooklyn” is not just an amazing record, it is one of our favorite albums of 2014. Check out our review here: bro-metal.org/it-escaped-from-brooklyn
Factory Fast Records has done it again. Their latest compilation album, “Rigged And Wired” is another masterpiece. This indie, grunge/stoner mix doesn’t have a bad track on it, seriously. Broken up in to “sides,” both “Side A” and “Side B” have enough great tracks to stand on their own but as a set, this thing is the total package. My favorite tracks include the sludgy rocker, “On Your Knees” by Bonze’s Fuel, the bluesy “6699” by Cloud City Trap, the 70’s stoner jam “Sleeping With The Enemy” by The Statements and “National Hero” from Katalina Kicks, which has a up-tempo punk feel to it. Plus, the bonus tracks are amazing! “Dez Brown” by Cloud City Trap and Dryland by Bonze’s Fuel aren’t just bonus tracks, they are a gift to all that dare listen.
With a Bro-Metal rating of, 9/10, Factory Fast Records has done it again with the compilation, “Rigged And Wired.” Rock on Factory Fast, rock on!
