The latest album from Inferion is a death and black metal that is sure to leave those of you who are fans of bands like Behemoth pretty damn satisfied with the brutal feel of “This Will Decay”. The entire album front to back is a massive punch to the face of brutality that is probably some of the most vile underground music I’ve heard in recent months. Everything about all 14 of these tracks is something that I believe all death/black metal bands out there aspire to make in their careers because simply how grand this is as an album and how (I’ll say it again) brutal this is compared to other death and black metal albums I’ve heard out there which are just that but some don’t go to the degree that Inferion have with this. The vocals, guitars, drums, and everything else is the absolute embodiment of the super hardcore underground community out there along with bands like Obduktion who just don’t get the recognition and fans that they deserve with all the hard work and awesome albums that they put out, and “They Will Decay” is another such album that is now among those greats that has the potential to propel the band far.
