I’ve honestly no idea who Steve Saluto is, but apparently he’s a big deal even though I’ve never ever heard of him before today. But you know what? I wish I had of heard of him before today because his latest solo EP “The Silver Skull Legend” is an excellent rock album in every aspect to its flow to the riffs to the versatility of Saluto’s playing of every instrument. The vocals had a very smooth and melodic feel to them that are just the sort that I know just about anyone can listen to any time of the day without much trouble. Like I said with the riffs, they were just fucking awesome sounding especially in the first track which is by far my favorite with it having a real groove to it that has that true feel good sound to it that I just fell in love with immediately. The same exact thing goes for the drums that have a solid pace for the whole EP and just don’t stop the beat no matter what. The entirety of “The Silver Skull Legend” is a testament to one man’s determination to show his talent and passion for a genre and performs exceedingly well.
