Moonspell’s upcoming eleventh helping of gothic metal (or dark metal whichever you prefer) that truly tests the boundaries of this genre and is evidence that even after eleven albums this band still has enough fuel to shake the foundations of an entire genre that is sure to reverberate for quite some time. “Extinct” is an explosive album after the first few songs that built up to some really great tracks that a lot of people can sit down and just jam to at any time since there’s plenty of things to enjoy from this album whether it be the raw sound, the gritty feel, or the great rhythm that’s sustained for the whole album.
