Behold! The Monolith – Architects of the Void

a2425967476_10 That is one of those album covers that is so badass that you cannot help but think “I hope the music is the same as the cover” (meaning epic). Stoner metal has always been a genre for me that is never consistent with being good or bad to my ears, and the same thing goes for doom metal, and especially not to mention if they were combined. They’ve both had their moments their, and Behold! The Monolith’s new upcoming album “Architects of the Void” is one of them as this combo of stoner and doom metal is more than anything I could’ve asked for. All seven tracks off of this album are heavy and crafted masterfully to the point where I was amazed by how awesome this entire album sounded. It was totally badass from beginning to end. The vocals (also the new vocalist for this band) were perfect for the crushingly amazing guitars and rhythmic drums that were on point for the entirety of the album. If you’re any sort of fan of stoner and/or doom metal then you have got to check out “Architects of the Void” when it drops September 29th as it is by far the best stoner/doom album that I’ve ever heard so far this year hand down. Hands. . . fucking. . . down.
