With the fusion of 80s speed and late 70s prowess in the whole world of heavy metal, this album is the sort of majesty that people absolutely gravitate towards in an instant with plenty already doing so in flocks as the very intoxication of this album comes in waves whether it’s in the form of voracious speed that blends brilliantly together with an intensity that feels born out of the tenacity of thrash with all that is “Reckoning” virtually the perfect melting pot of such stylistic wonders. It all comes together in such fluidity and godly levels of excellence that keep you guessing what will come forth as you move from one track to the next, and it’s no matter what it is that Hell Fire pulls next out of their massive, supreme bag of tricks it will be something of undeniable quality and vicious captivation the likes of which you can’t help but gobble right up.

Considering the wondrous state of the world of heavy metal finds itself in, a creation as exemplary as what we have here in the form of “Reckoning” is a truly special occasion that cannot go unheralded for all that it achieves in what it brings forward with true passion and real talent the driving forces. Hell Fire is a true spectacle the likes of which we don’t see often by any means with time only meaning further greatness for the name, and it’s in every form that such a name deserves to be heralded and held to the high standard it’s already cleared by a large margin with its latest, fascinating effort.
