In more than a few instances, we’ve seen a band come around whose stream of madness is nothing less than constant. It’s all too often that we see that only to find the quality of the bands in question dwindling over time, but some do manage to defy the odds despite what many of us would expect. As one of the names that manages to consistently impress, Endseeker’s brand of death metal has never been brought into question with time only seeming to further the power that this quintet has wielded with absolute impunity since day one. A constant release schedule of a full-length album every two years, the trend has yet to be broken with this fourth full-length offering very much living up to the reputation Endseeker has made for itself.

Right away, it should be made immeasurably obvious that Endseeker’s concoction of death metal has yet to wane so much as a single iota. Their brand of intensity mixed with a devilish injection of melodies wherever they’re able to be squeezed in, Endseeker has become quite a name to respect in every regard over the years with “Global Worming” further proving such a clear truth. I’ve no doubt that some might be turned away by such a title, and they would be the greatest of fools to do such a thing. For the absolute entirety of these nine tracks, there is nothing to be had but total unwavering domination that knows not the definition of mercy.  “Global Worming” goes out of its way at every given opportunity to deliver unto us apocalyptic death metal that is constantly on the offensive without so much as a moment’s reprieve to show off some sort of contrast or different side to what Endseeker has been throwing down for all these years. Every bit of what’s put forth in this record is what people need to envision when they imagine what unyielding bloodlust is with the melodies of each track acting like a dinner bell for the prey to coming running towards the chaos that seeks to rend soul from flesh and merge bone into the ground. Eviscerating to a tee without dropping the ball for so much as a moment with the pummeling death metal leaving the listener naught but a pasty mass spread across the realm, “Global Worming” more than lives up to the reputation of all that has come before.

Only the best of the best can keep their material consistent over the years with even some of the elite making a stumble here and there. So far, Endseeker has been defying the odds in that category with “Global Worming” serving as the fourth consecutive offensive from the German act that is extremely effective in its results as there’s nothing left in its wake but screams of the recently damned and the engorged bodies of the worms who feast upon the roasted, rotting flesh. Death metal has never been lacking in immense power for people to constantly return to, yet Endseeker is quickly making itself known as a reliable source that is nothing to underestimate.
