When it comes to death metal unbridled whose edge is more like that of a blunt axe meant for raw bludgeoning as opposed to a well-refined, sharpened edge of a sword, some people seek to stretch it out such that we can truly revel in the barbarity. However, there’s always something to be said for those who do the deed, make it quick, and make it a horrific bloodbath from beginning to end. No time wasted nor anything left to chance as there just isn’t any time whatsoever for the listener to think of anything other than the primal urge to survive this voracious onslaught. Not enough ten minutes overall but with more than enough power the shatter the very world, Knurling takes the concept of brutality to a level only the highest scholars of the old school of death metal are able to bring to the table. Unyielding at the highest order with more than enough riffs to make everyone within their vicinity to bang their heads in agreement every step of the way, Knurling is off to the very best start that any band could ask for. It’s clear along every step of the way in this surprisingly short journey that Knurling is adept at their craft with a devilish understanding with the final product of blood, bone, and toxic darkness that only a real entity of the underground can ever hope to deliver.

Dripping in nastiness but always more than capable of delivering glory of the darkest kind, Knurling is a name we already need to keep a close eye on. Where the underground is always brimming with potential, Knurling is the embodiment of bands that always keep us coming back for more every single time.
