Black Lord – Black Ritual Forest

This is not the rawest black metal that I’ve heard before in my life, but it is some of the best quality if you ask me. Black Lord’s latest helping of black metal, “Black Ritual Forest”, stands as a testament that this genre is still cranking out solid bands with awesome minds to create very new albums that have both a fresh feel to them and a traditional sound at the same time. This album begins and also ends with completely atmospheric intentions that are meant to really set the mood, and they do a phenomenal job. Tine – The Forest Dreams of Black

There are ever so many combinations that can be made with the various genres out there, and sometimes they make great matches while others not so much. Tine has decided to combine the three different genres of black, death, and little bit of symphonic metal for their debut album “The Forest Dreams of Black”. Stellar Master Elite – III: Eternalism – The Psychospherical Chapter

What’s the one place that is cold as ice, more barren than the desert, unforgiving in every way, but so beautiful that is has captured man’s imagination since the dawn of time? The answer is simple: space. The astral plains have always been a source of wonder, and thus has been a constant place for muscians to go to for inspiration, and Stellar Master Elite is no different. I personally have not heard their first two albums, but now I really want to because their third and upcoming release, “III: Eternalism – The Psychospherical Chapter”, is in every sense of … Continue reading Stellar Master Elite – III: Eternalism – The Psychospherical Chapter

Chiral – Night Sky

It’s always cool to know that one man has the capability to create something so complex and interesting in a single album. But this is not Chiral’s first album. This is his seventh album to be exact (demos included), so that means this guy has honed his sound, feel, and texture to such a degree that if this isn’t his crowning piece then I’d be severely impressed because his newest release, “Night Sky”, is a very nice album that is done really well done to the most perfect note that could’ve possibly been chosen. And being atmospheric black metal, there’s … Continue reading Chiral – Night Sky
