Embrace of Thorns – Darkness Impenetrable

 I think we can all agree that just upon the cover art that this isn’t exactly your run-of-the-mill black/death metal album, and in no way does Embrace of Thorns disappoint with their new album “Darkness Impenetrable”. Vermörd – Dawn of the Black Harvest

 This album is everything that blackened death metal is about down to cover art when it comes to Vermörd’s new album, “Dawn of the Black Harvest”. Feign – Lost to Eternity

 I cannot begin to explain how much I love one man bands. These are the guys who are the essence of the term “if you want to do something right, do it yourself”. Grethor – Cloaked in Decay

 I’ve never really thought of what avant-garde black metal alongside death metal would sound like if it were ever made, but Grethor’s “Cloaked in Decay” is a nice answer to that thought. Suffering – Chaosatanas

 Judging by the cover alone, I think we can all agree that this is a step above your average run-of-the-mill black metal. Fortid – 9

 If someone told be that pagan black metal could ever be made more badass or epic than what it normally is I’d call fucking bullshit.
