Origin – Omnipresent

Every Time I Die – From Parts Unknown

 The first thing that I could think of that would cover what “From Parts Unknown” is to me is the intensity like that shown by Rage Against the Machine. Colosso – Foregone Semblances

 I’ll be honest I’ve never listened to an EP that only has 2 tracks in it let alone an EP that is less than 8 minutes long. Colosso, a Portuguese doom metal band, has given me something I did not expect today. Arch Enemy – War Eternal

This is the kind of album that people like me live for. “War Eternal” was just… fucking beautiful. An absolute masterpiece that shall become one of the legends of metal that will be known for generations of head-bangers to come. The entire album is a great representation of all modern day thrash metal mixed with some death metal and with some of the most perfected screaming I metal I’ve ever heard. Tombs – Savage Gold

Falconer – Black Moon Rising

First off, folk metal as always had it’s moments for me even though I don’t listen to a lot of it. One of these moments is when I heard “Unsung Heroes” by Ensiferum. Great song no question. Godflesh – Decline & Fall EP

 I’ve never particularly loved Godflesh, but I do appreciate and sometimes enjoy their music. Everything changes though. Godflesh has plans to release a new album (don’t ask me for the name, I don’t remember) later this fall, and that can possibly be the album that’ll make me love Godflesh as a whole.
