 This 2-track EP is probably one of the best hard rock albums I’ve heard since Kyng’s “Burn the Serum” (fabulous). While, as you might’ve noticed, this isn’t put out by Red Fang themselves but it is made by them. Polanski – Between This and Hate

 Apparently there isn’t a really big grunge scene in Finland at the moment. Who knew? Not me, of course. But I found this extremely weird because . . . well Finland and the countries in that area are revered for having a massive metal community as we all know, so why isn’t there more variety like grunge? I’ll never know but this band, Polanski, is proof that Finnish people can make just about any rock and metal music and make it sound completely badass. Stray (sthlm) – Overnaut

 Please do not ask me what the “(sthlm)” stands for because I’ve no idea in the slightest. So for today let’s just call this band Stray. Makes things easier for me and you. But anyway, Stray’s latest EP “Overnaut” is a nice piece of grunge rock and a little metal influence. There’s not a whole lot of metal going on in “Overnaut” but there’s enough for it to be a noticeable factor. The rest of it however is definitely grunge. And good grunge to say in the least.
