Gaillion – Letters from the Skipper (single)

 When I say that “Letters from the Skipper” is a free flowing single, I’m not trying to make a pun out of the album cover. The Apparition – In Ruins (single)

 As the debut single from The Apparition’s upcoming EP “Glass Eyes”, “In Ruins” is what the band said that they “created this EP to show what we have been working and the direction of the band and for bigger things to come.” That’s as good a reason as any for me!  Tell you what. . . I really like some nice flowing rock music with good tunes and a nice beat. 1 In Five had all of that. Consumption – Induction (single)

 Much as Consumption’s last album “Incredulous Dillusions” their new single “Induction” is very raw and absolutely on the harsher end of death/metal-core music by far. Thankfully, the YouTube video for this is a lyric video so you can keep up with the song because you’d be hard pressed to even know what the vocalist is saying most of the time. The Haunted – Cutting Teeth (single)

 The latest single from The Haunted’s upcoming album “Exit Wounds” is hardcore right from the start. The song wastes no time in relying on a slow build up to an explosion of metal because the explosion happens at the very beginning. And everything is very well done, too.
