Despite – Praedonum (single)

Despite is one of those bands for me that no matter they pump out, I manage to love it. Their last EP, “Epic”, was fucking amazing and so was their last single, “Chaos Trigger”. Now this 6-man, 8-stringed melodic death metal band has done it again with their brand new song “Praedonum”. Tackling the issue of children who have been abused and kidnapped are captured within the powerful lyrics as they tell how the disgusting people who commit such crimes will pay for their hellish deeds and then some. The vocals for this song are slightly different from Despite’s previous … Continue reading Despite – Praedonum (single)

Feared – My Grief, My Sorrow (single)

I still remember the first time I heard Feared’s fourth album, “Vinter”, almost a year ago and feeling the awesomeness that Feared is and the talent that they have, and I thought they couldn’t get any better. Well, now they’re back with their fifth full length album and it shows me that I haven’t been more wrong about anything else in my life. Their new single “My Grief, My Sorrow” that they just released today is as great as their previous releases and demonstrates that Feared have not lost their touch one bit. This song is heavy, it deals with … Continue reading Feared – My Grief, My Sorrow (single)

Despite – Chaos Trigger (single)

After Despite’s critically acclaimed album “EPic” (which I personally love and still listen to everyday), they have released a new single called “Chaos Trigger” that is to come from their next album that is currently unnamed to the public. And those of us out there who love Despite and thought if “Chaos Trigger” would hold up to the standards of “EPic” have nothing to fear because this single might as well of come off the EP because everything is as good as they were before if not better in some people’s mind. This single is an absolute brutal piece that is just … Continue reading Despite – Chaos Trigger (single)

Snowy Shaw – Fire (single)

I’m not really into this sort of music, but it’s Halloween and that means horror and that means horror metal! And this was by far the best one that I could easily find. Snowy Shaw’s new single “Fire” is one that implements what is probably considered the more “stereotypical” horror metal because of the look of Snowy Shaw and the overall general sound of this single is everything that would be expected as a “normal horror metal album” even though I thought this was pretty good overall as a song by itself. It had good vocals, guitars that had good … Continue reading Snowy Shaw – Fire (single)
