The thought of melodic death metal and pop metal being fused into on has honestly never come across my mind until I saw this album. The Passion of Our Souls has created an album with a female vocalist that has a very raw set of vocals in between choruses, but during the chorus is where the pop metal comes in with the guitars still staying relatively the same but the vocals start singing instead of the sound that I can only call “the death metal voice”.
