Devilstrip’s upcoming hard rock album “Rise” really hearkens to original hard rock in that it really doesn’t hover between rock, hard rock, and some form of metal. It just stays hard rock, and good sounding hard rock to boot. Everything was all nice and smooth but it always had that razor sharp edge that all hard rock fans have loved since its creation. “Rise” is very well rounded with good vocals, solid guitars, and drums that just have an excellent pace especially for their genre and that makes the songs sound all the more better.
