I know, this album is a few months old. It came out in. . . August? No, October, yeah. It came out in October. But, I ran out of “new” albums to do and my friend called me today and said, “Listen to this album and review it.” Since I didn’t have anything scheduled, I said “fuck it” and listened to “Serpents Unleashed”. The album was overall good and had many qualities and features that many successful metal albums have that attract many people. All of the band members were able to say in sync with each other so well that the vocals, guitars and drums began to melt together. You know when that happens? When you can’t really pin point which instrument you’re listening to because everything is being heard at once and it just sounds amazing. And vocals were basically raspy screaming, but the good kind that sounds better than most and you can actually hear all the hate and frustration going into the voice and the lyrics being spoken. The entire album was like this and it was very nice to hear an album that subconsciously makes your mind listen to every part of the song and not just one singular aspect, and this can bring many people to buy their albums and become fans.
