They’re back with a full album now! Before it was just their EP “Decline & Fall”, but now they’re full comeback “A World Lit Only By Fire” is practically just around the corner! When the guy, Trevor, who sent me the email for the album a few months ago he said “I feel safe saying that this album eats the preceding EP for breakfast”. And I firmly said to myself, “I will be the judge of that!” And as judge, I say that he is 110% correct! “A World Lit Only By Fire” is a hardcore piece of metal that just grinds along with amazing sound that only real metal fans can appreciate and get into. The guitars has an absolutely brutal sound to them that hearken back to original 80s metal when raw meant raw and hardcore meant hardcore. The vocals may not occur as often as I wished they would have, but when they did they sounded great. This comeback album is probably one of the best albums in metal of the year so far in my book, probably taking the #5 spot if you want an accurate place. And while I sadly do not know where “A World Lit Only By Fire” where be available digitally outside of iTunes when it’s open for pre-order, I imagine it’ll be on Spotify so I’ll put that below when the fateful day comes along.
