Dead Alone – Nemesis

 This album is probably the most perfect blend of black, death, and doom metal that I have heard recently. My only true lamentations about this album is that the album seems to last a lot longer than its actual run time and I’m more of a fast paced death metal guy, but I suppose I shouldn’t complain about doom metal not being “fast”. Unbibium – The Coming of Gozer

 I’m not exactly the biggest fan of deathcore simply because I like my death metal as just death metal and my metalcore as just metalcore. The Finite Beings – A Life to Come

Silent Divide – Master of Disguise

 It’s honestly rare for me to come across a debut of any sorts, listen to it, and then give it two thumbs up. But Silent’s Divide’s hard rock/alternative metal debut EP “Master of Disguise” has managed to do that! Putrid Offal – Mature Necropsy

 Who knew that goregrind was a thing? Not me, obviously. But Putrid Offal’s upcoming album “Mature Necropsy” is an album that is by far the defining album of a genre and in this case that is goregrind. Lord Dying – Poisoned Altars

 Second album. Second goddamn album. I did not believe it at first when I saw that this was only Lord Dying’s second release because it sounds like they’ve been doing this for a long time with how fucking good “Poisoned Altars” is.
