Coming from Canadian thrash metallers Meridius, “Speed Kills” off of the band’s upcoming self-titled EP is a fast piece of work, as is expected with thrash metal. The single has this real quick, raw sound to it that when you catch some of the lyrics really catches your dreams and slowly twists them into nightmares that will stay with you for the entire song and surely will for the entire 3-track EP when it drops on March 20th. The feel of the song also appeals to us thrash fans who like the speed and the vocals that are fast and almost indiscernible unless you’ve spent so much time listening to them that you can pick up a few words here or there. If this track is any indication to how the entirety of how the EP will sound then it is more than a treat for thrash metal fans everywhere.
