An effort with an unmistakable factor of mystery is something that’s not easily crafted. It’s one thing to give your work a different air or dabble in a unique flavor here or there, but it’s another thing entirely to ensure the entirety of the creation feels intriguing, constantly beckons the listener further into the piece, and keeps them coming back for more. Across the eight fascinating chapters of “Nexus Teleport Fracture”, it’s made clear time after time that Voidstar Nocturnal went out of its way to meticulously craft an effort that’s as engrossing as it is off-putting and sinister with the final results being a piece that left nothing on the table, remained darkly enchanting, and instantly established Voidstar Nocturnal as a name that’s already not to be underestimated. An ethereal creation that offers no reprieve even as you’re subjected to seemingly random bouncing between genres at times, Voidstar Nocturnal keeps you right on the edge of your seat as you are sent hurtling through a dark spirit realm of a sort that plenty throughout the underground try to replicate with few able to summon anything close to what we experience throughout “Nexus Teleport Fracture”.

Cloaked in mysterium and always making sure to keep the lines blurred between raw spiritualism and calculated tyranny, it’s here that we’re given a work that not only stands out from the crowd, but towers monolithically over the competition. Voidstar Nocturnal has made a singularly magnificent entrance with “Nexus Teleport Fracture” without there being so much as a minute of the work that doesn’t grab you by the throat, command your attention, and masterfully showcase what it means to offer something distinctly different yet undeniably compelling.
